What if I already own another franchise?
Provided your other business does not compete with the services we offer (for example, no online auctioning), you can still open a Caring Transitions! But very few of our franchisees run multiple businesses. This business model (especially at the beginning) is a full-time job. While a Caring Transitions franchise is certainly not going to give you a problem with work-life balance, if you are running both this business and are very involved with another, you may experience burnout. But there is nothing to stop you from doing so if you wish.
Do I bill customers & maintain accounts receivable?
Absolutely not. It’s a cash business. You are paid for each job upon completion of the work. In fact, our system allows you to even accept most major credit cards.
What kind of training can I expect?
Caring Transitions offers a complete turn-key operation. During your initial training, you will learn how to operate a successful and profitable business. Our initial training program provides you with:
The training necessary to effectively bid projects.
The skills to hire quality workers who will be responsible on the project.
An understanding of your target market and all of the tools necessary to market your business.
The expertise to manage and organize your business through computers, accounting software, budgeting, and time management techniques.

What type of ongoing support can I get?
Once you have reached your milestones, the support never ends! Our Operational Support team will be there helping you grow as an owner — answering questions, assisting in identifying new opportunities, helping you be innovative and sharing best practices from across the system. You will also have access to our robust intranet, webinars, regional meetings, national conferences and strategic planning. The list goes on and on.
We are so vested in our franchisee’s success, we’ve put together a program called the Winner’s Circle. You can earn your entire franchisee fee back upon meeting certain milestones. Your success is our success and what better way can we help your business grow, than to give you the chance to earn back your entire franchise fee.
Do I need any medical knowledge or training?
No! We are not a healthcare provider or service company. While medical concerns commonly prompt the call for our services, we exist to make lifestyle transitions regarding their homes and property as painless as possible. This can mean decluttering, helping customers move to a new home that meets their needs, or helping family members sort through possessions after a loved one has passed. It is the job of medical professionals to look after their health; we assist them adjust to new environments as their unique circumstances dictate.
